Short evening tour with sunset, dolphins and stars
Pula is a city where the sea begins right from the streets. Here, the smell of salty air blends with history, and old stones remember ships from many eras. From here, we set off on our sailing trip along the Istrian coast.
It’s a gentle evening day sailing trip, six hours when day slowly turns into night and the city starts to glow. That moment when you stand on the deck, listen to the water lapping against the hull, and catch yourself thinking: “I’ve wanted to try this for so long.” The moment when today turns into yesterday, and tomorrow begins to be today—a true sailing experience in Istria.
The Let’s Boat Team and Our Night Sailing Skippers
At Let’s Boat, we run our tours the way we love to travel ourselves. No rush, no formalities, but with attention to every detail. Our skippers are people who live by the sea and know these waters intimately.
Some of our guests step onto the deck for the first time. And that’s perfectly fine. We explain everything simply, help you get comfortable, and gradually you start to feel like part of the crew. The sea is calm, the sailing route is carefully planned, and the boats are modern and safe. Usually, within the first hour, guests relax, meet each other, and start to feel the rhythm of the journey. If conditions allow, we’ll raise the sails; if not, we’ll move quietly on the modern engine.

Tour Program — Short Sailing Trip from Pula
If you have the time and desire, you can additionally book wine, olive oil, prosciutto tasting or other tours for 1-2 days or a whole week. Your vacation can become even more vibrant and inspiring with us.
We meet at Polesana Marina on the outskirts of Pula. It’s easy to reach by car or a 10€ taxi from the city center. We get acquainted, go through a short briefing, and head out to sea. The city slowly fades behind us, and the horizon opens ahead. At this moment, a calm usually settles in — the kind of silence when people just look around and enjoy the view. This is the start of a day sailing trip you’ll remember.
We sail along the coastline. In this part of the Adriatic, dolphins often appear in the evening, sometimes swimming very close to the boat. We don’t rush — we just watch and enjoy the moment. Nearby, there’s an old lighthouse and the Brijuni Islands (national park). This is a perfect chance for a sailing experience in Istria that feels alive and natural.
This is one of those scenes that make people fall in love with a yacht tour in Croatia. The sun slowly touches the water, the sky changes colors, and the wind softens. Some take photos, others simply remain silent, taking it all in. It’s a true sunset sailing tour.
We sail back into the cozy Pula bay and anchor. The sea is calm, the city lights start to glow, and the atmosphere becomes more intimate.
We sip tea or a glass of wine, chat, and take photos. The ancient Pula Arena, almost two thousand years old, is illuminated, giving a feeling of stepping back into Ancient Rome. The port cranes reflect in the water, stars shine above, and the calm sea surrounds us. In this moment, it’s easy to understand why people fall in love with sailing yacht tours.
We raise a final glass of tea to the day that has passed and joyfully welcome the new one. And even though the sun is not thinking of rising yet (since it has just recently set) — the calendar already knows that a new day has begun. We finish our cruise and drop off our guests at the marina, back at the starting point. Hugs are exchanged, emotions shared, and we promise each other that we will meet again. You can get back home or to your hotel by your own car or by calling a taxi.

Gastronomy and Culture of Pula and Istria
Pula is a special city. Here you feel the echoes of antiquity, a touch of Venice, the order of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, and the lightness of modern Croatia. It is a port that has always lived with the sea.
Istria is famous for its simple yet very delicious cuisine: fresh fish, olive oil, local wines, and warm conversations at the table. People here are open, and the atmosphere is calm and friendly.
This is why a sailing trip in Istria feels so natural. It’s easy to slow down and simply enjoy the moment.
