What Is Yacht Crew Course?
The Yacht Crew Course is an entry-level program designed for anyone who wants to feel confident, useful, and safe on board. It combines essential theory with hands-on training, helping you understand yacht equipment, basic manoeuvres, safety procedures, and the role of a crew member in real conditions. Training takes place primarily in Croatia, with other locations available depending on the schedule. The course also includes an ISSA certificate, a Let’s Boat certificate, a complimentary dinghy course, 20% off your first boat charter, and partner discounts on selected equipment.
Your Opportunities After the Course & Course Requirements
• Crew on a vessel up to a maximum length of 24 m (72 ft)
• Up to 20 miles offshore
• In daylight
• In fair conditions with moderate wind and sea conditions
Course Requirements:
• Required previous certification: None.
• Experience required prior training: None
• Age: 10 – 99 years.
• A stable internet connection and basic technical equipment required for video calls.
• Fill out the student questionnaire before the start of the course.
• Payment at least 2 weeks before the course to ensure timely provision of visual materials, which will be sent by Post.
